Traditional celebration of the International Labor Day in Park Maksimir with music and entertainment program, traditional beans with barley, sausages, bacon and smoked pork and traditional cake with fresh cheese!
The city of Zagreb provided 40,000 portions of beans with barley, sausage, bacon and smoked pork, 25,000 portions of traditional cake with fresh cheese and 45,000 bagels.
The preparation of 35,000 portions of beans took place in the Institution of the City of Zagreb DOBRI DOM from 8:00 pm on April 30 until 2:00 p.m. May 1 (a total of 28 workers), and the remaining 5,000 portions in the City Society of the Red Cross of the City of Zagreb. The employees of DOBRI DOM, PJ "Car unit" and PJ "Technical Service", from 5:30 a.m. organized the pick-up of bagels and traditional cake with fresh cheese in Park Maksimir.
More than 120 employees of the City of Zagreb - the City Office for Social Protection, Health, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities, all business systems of the "Dobri Dom" Institution of the City of Zagreb, the City Society of the Red Cross Zagreb, Homes for the Elderly of the City of Zagreb were involved in the event itself. and Doma Duga-Zagreb who participated and contributed to the organization of this event with their hard work.

Programs of the Institution in the form of social services that we provide for citizens in need, distribution of meals in public dining halls and delivery of meals to homes/houses, on International Labor day they were carried out according to the usual schedule.
