Assistance in family packages is provided to a family or a single person who, due to natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire, etc.), health conditions, unemployment and other crisis situations, have found themselves in unfavourable life circumstances, while these circumstances last.

 Assistance in family packages cannot be obtained by beneficiaries from paragraph 4 of Article 26 (Decision on Social Welfare, Official Gazette of the City of Zagreb 22/22, 29/22, 08/23 and 30/23) who own other real estate, except real estate which they use for housing.

Help in family packages is achieved by distributing family packages that contain: food, cleaning products and maintenance of personal hygiene.

- beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum compensation on the basis of a letter from the competent authority in accordance with the Law;
