Renewal of the fleet of commercial delivery vehicles
The Institution continues to continuously renew its fleet in order to raise the level of safety at work of our delivery drivers and all other employees who manage them.
From the point of view of public health safety, it is necessary to maintain a very high level of hygiene and sanitary standards, bearing in mind that our vehicles transport ready-made hot meals prepared in Kosnica every day of the year and delivered to dining rooms, the overnight stay for homeless people at Ilica 29, cooperating social institutions (Mali dom, Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese - KUĆA ZA MLADE »DA ŽIVOT IMAJU!, Zagreb Center for Independent Living, Dom Duga Zagreb and the Red Cross shelter of the City of Zagreb (1,550 users, a total of 565,000 meals per year) and to the home addresses of fellow citizens in need (800 users per day, a total of 292,000 meals delivered per year). In accordance with the above and as a result of responsible business operations and timely planning of DOBRI DOM, as well as continuous fiscal support from the founders of the City of Zagreb, in mid-July we took delivery of 6 deliverable commercial vehicles.
