Crisis management becomes part of strategic management and business sustainability
The international conference Crisis Management Days (DKU 2026) will be held on June 2 and 3 in Velika Gorica.
This year, the conference will once again open a discussion about a world in which security threats, climate change and technological challenges no longer occur separately, but in parallel and interconnected.
The focus of the conference is on the resilience of society, the role of artificial intelligence, climate risks and new technologies in crisis management - from GIS analytics and satellite systems to drones and digital early warning platforms.
Experts, the scientific community, students, field operatives, directors, CEOs and the local community will discuss how prepared countries, cities, institutions and companies are today for the era of “continuous crises”, that resilience is no longer a choice but a necessity and that crisis management is becoming one of the key competencies of modern leadership, through a presentation of practice and exchange of experience.
For more than 10 years, DOBRI DOM has established itself as a reliable partner in the field of crisis management through the operational process of support in crisis situations within the framework of the in-kind assistance program, regardless of the complexity and weather conditions. In its daily work, DOBRI DOM also works very intensively on predicting risks in its interdisciplinary nature that arises from its activities.
The director of DOBRI DOM, Alen Župan, is participating in the work of the 19th international conference "Crisis Management Days 2026", at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Sanja Kalambura, Vice-Dean for Science at the Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences and President of the Scientific and Organizing Committee of the conference.
