Collective Agreement for Workers of DOBRI DOM

Following the conclusion of collective negotiations by the Negotiating Committee appointed by the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Tomislav Tomašević, through the Conclusion on Accepting the Initiative to Begin Negotiations on the Conclusion of a Collective Agreement for Workers of the Institution of the City of Zagreb DOBRI DOM (Romana Galić, President of the Committee, Members: Ana Matijević, Đurđica Svaton, Nino Stojšić, Anja Fočić, Alen Župan) and the Joint Negotiating Committee of the Trade Unions for Collective Negotiations (SDLSN RH: Jozefina Čivrag, Božidar Gledec, Željko Špehar, Iva Bolanča and SKPH: Alen Halilović, Hrvoje Zagorščak, Ana Kranjac Jularić), a new Collective Agreement for Workers of Dobri Dom was signed on 11 April 2025. We would like to thank all stakeholders in this process for their valuable work.

Through responsible action and timely planning (in the preparation of the proposal for the Financial Plan of the DOBRI DOM for 2025), in October 2024, the Institution secured financial resources that cover the obligations (increase in the base by 10.6%, increase in the hot meal allowance to 100 euro, etc.) arising from the signed Collective Agreement that has been in effect since January 1, 2025.

Strengthening social dialogue is one of the key strategic goals of the Institution aimed at promoting decent work for all workers, which, in addition to social dialogue, also includes labour standards, fundamental principles and rights at work, jobs that will provide security and dignity, and effective social protection.

For this very reason, the Institution will invest all efforts in further developing and improving social dialogue, and as social partners, we all need to be additionally motivated to actively participate in it. The fundamental prerequisite in this process is mutual understanding and trust of social partners and action in the regulatory area for all stakeholders.
