 The City of Zagreb institution Dobri Dom is gathering the system of social services which the City of Zagreb gives for citizens with low incomes, and which (as an activity of social service without accommodation) based upon the Decision about types of social service help of the City of Zagreb, is supervising the following programs about which you can find out on these web pages.
The right to this kind of social help of the Institution the users gain by the document issued by the authorized Center for social help Zagreb. They have to be in the socially protected need and the list is checked by the City office for health, work, social protection and defenders. The revision to this right is done twice a year by the experts of the City office for helath, work, social protection and defenders and finally by the Center for social help Zagreb, on the period of three to six months a year the most.

Project, "Dobri dom (Good home)– a Home of Human Solidarity": EMPLOYMENT OF UNEMPLOYED PERSONS IN PUBLIC WORK
Under the National Plan for Employment Promotion for 2009. and 2010. by the Croatian government passed 05/21/2009., Croatian Bureau of Employment and Institution "Dobri dom" City of Zagreb concluded an agreement on financing the employment of unemployed persons in the public work. Institutions as the initiator of the project through the "Dobri dom - a home of human solidarity" appeared at the invitation of CES to finance the employment of people in public work. The institution is offered employment through the project the following tasks: working in the Department of Food and minor technical tasks (preparation and distribution of meals to customers, popular dining room - 15 people, and work on business delivery of meals to house elderly, disabled and sick persons (Branch Fleet) - 10 people. The work contract is concluded for a maximum of six months, a target group are unemployed persons registered with the unemployed for at least 36 months. employment through public works program of active measures which aim, socially useful work, to increase the employability of long-term unemployed persons, promote their social inclusion and mitigate the social consequences of their unemployment.

„1. May“ beans with sausage!
City of Zagreb and the Department of Social Welfare and people with disabilities, and Institution "Dobri dom“ prepared by the City of Zagreb is approx. 45 000 „1.may“ meal of beans with sausages. With Beans citizens are shared bread, moist hand wipes for disinfection, and is provided potable water. Beans with sausages prepared in the business unit "Heat block Kosnica" and was divided into three "point" in Park Maksimir. With workers' Dobri dom "in the distribution of beans with sausages participated and greatly helped their valuable work that people are not waiting in lines and employees of the City Department of Social Welfare and people with disabilities, staff from the Homes for the elderly and disabled people in the City (Park, Maksimir, Sv. Ana, Ksaver, Peščenica, Trešnjevka, Centar, Sv. Josip and Ksaver), URIHO staff and the House of "Rainbow", and citizens involved in public work program activities.
Institution "DOBRI DOM" City of Zagreb - laureate Charter "Ivančica "
Expert Council URIHO institutions (institutions for the rehabilitation of disabled persons vocational rehabilitation and employment-Zagreb) has made a decision about this year's laureates Charter Ivančica Institution "DOBRI DOM" City of Zagreb. This award given to deserving institutions URIHO institutions and individuals in different ways participate in the promotion of vocational rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities.

THE NEW PUBLIC DINING-ROOM OF THE CITY OF ZAGREB INSTITUTION 'DOBRI DOM' IS OPENED!
In order to raise standards of our services towards the users we opened the new public dining-room in Alfirevićeva 6. At the moment, 1185 users are using this public dining-room which is of a great help to the dining-room in Branimirova 35 where we have 1100 users at the moment.
