The City of Zagreb institution "Dobri dom" and the Ministry of justice have signed the contract about the fulfillment of legal sanction as working for the public good and from May 2006 people are enabled to fulfill legal sanction as working for the public good free. The purpose of this is not to exclude the convicts from the society but to enable them to become conscious about damages of the bad behavior and to become responsible for the bad consequences.

Individual contract between the Social center Zagreb and our Institution ensures the terms for doing the humanitarian work.

Since the activity of the employer is humanitarian, by fulfilling legal sanction as working for the public good, we achieved the benefit for the social community and this all is done according to general purpose of fulfilling the legal sanctions and the special purpose of working for the public good and the humanitarian work of underaged perpetrators of crimes.

In the City of Zagreb institution "Dobri dom" the convicts work for public good on the assisting jobs within the public dining-rooms Branimirova, Alfirevićeva i Cerska and also on the outside jobs on the heat-treatment Kosnica. Up to this day, 30 convicts have fulfilled their legal sanction working for the public good, some of them were sent by the Social center Zagreb and some by the court.
